| My daughter told me this morning that she thinks her Demarini Phenix -10 bat (32/22) has lost its pop. How do I know if it has? She has had it just over a year now and probably has played in about 95-100 games, she uses it in practices and at the batting cages. Now I know people dont like to use them in the cages but we made sure the balls they use there are ok for her bat. But my thinking is, maybe she is right? After better thought, I mean she swings like crazy. Were at the cages 2-3 times a week, year round, and she probably gets 50-60 swings in at practice 2 days a week. I just dont want to plop down another 300 bucks on a CF4 or another Phenix (she loves this bat, and swears by it) if I dont have to. Please let me know what you guys think, and I'll take it out for a 'test drive'. I was thinking I would go to the field and hit with it and see how I do. I can regularly put them over the fence. Hmmm. Any fool proof ways to know? Thanks everyone! |
